Original text too short.
Myth of Empires is a strategy game that ended up in hot water. The game received allegations from Snail Games and Studio Wildcard (who worked on ARK: Survival Evolved), claiming that Myth of Empires stole the source code of ARK. These allegations removed myth of steam empires, but now he leads a legal battle to reintegrate.
Angela Games, the developers of Myth of Empires, repel. They entirely deny these assertions, qualifying them with misleading and incomplete. Angela Games says that the allegations caused huge damage to the game and their business, and requires things to change.
The ARK team released a statement on this subject. All Wildcard employees, Snail USA and Snail Games have signed non-disclosure agreements promising to keep the technical secrets, such as software, and not to provide that equipment to third parties, they declared. The source code was also stored on a server to which only employees who gave connection information to that server could access. »
The node of this problem seems to be that many Developers from Myth of Empires have also worked on ARK. They had access to all these files, and thanks to a survey, Ark found flagrant similarities.
Battle ye, an anti-cheating system used by ARK, has found its own suspicious details. When they examined the source code themselves, they found several channels that should have been unique to ark. They also found a number of typing faults, which, again, were identical to the ARK code.
It is always possible that these similarities are fortuitous. Since some Employees of Angela Games worked on ARK, they could simply have similar ways to sort / use the information. But the details are as numerous as overwhelming, and ask for a strong response to be ruled out.
