Taito Corporation (タイト ー 株式 会社 Taito Kabushikigaisha) is a Japanese company dedicated to the development, distribution and marketing of videogames. It was founded in 1953 by Russian businessman Michael Kogan, and developed his first Arcade videogame in 1973. Since 2005, he is part of the Square Enix group. [1] Initially, Taito dedicated himself to distributing recreational machines of American origin in the Japanese market. However, he also began to develop his own games and in 1977 he achieved great success with Space Invaders, a game with which the company has won more than 500 million dollars.
